兵庫県在住のイラストレーター。

フレンチブルドッグを中心に、人物や風景など、日々の中で心に留めておきたいものを描いています。

鉛筆・水彩・クレヨンなどを使った原画制作と、アナログで培った表現を生かしたデジタル作品を手がけています。

日本国内はもちろん、海外からのご依頼にも、デジタルデータで作品をお届けしています。

個人の方からのオーダーをはじめ、ショップや店舗、企業、イベントなどからのご依頼も承っています。

ロゴや商品・パッケージ、キャラクター、店舗や空間の装飾、書籍・WEB用イラストなど、

ご希望や用途に合わせて制作しています。

これまで保護犬と16年間暮らし、かけがえのない大切な命と一緒に過ごせたことに、心から感謝しています。

一緒に過ごした日々の中で感じた愛情やぬくもり。そして、見送ったあと、ふと押し寄せてくる悲しみや寂しさ。

そのどちらも、今の私が絵を描くうえで大切な感覚となっています。

オーダーをくださるご家族から、その子のお名前や、一緒に過ごした思い出、その子との出来事などを聞かせていただくことがあります。そうしたお話を聞かせていただくことで、その子のことをより深く知り、感じながら絵と向き合うことができます。写真だけでは分からない、その子との時間やご家族の想いが加わることで、描く時間にもより深さと奥行きが生まれていくように感じています。

そして、そのお話を伺うたびに、旅立ったその子が、ご家族にもう一つの大切な宝物を届けてくれているようにも感じます。

その子と過ごした時間や思い出が、絵の中でもう一度色づき、いつでもその存在を感じられるような作品を届けています。

Illustrator Yu

Based in Hyogo, Japan.

I create illustrations inspired by the things we want to hold close in our everyday lives, with French Bulldogs at the heart of my work, as well as people, landscapes, and other subjects that carry a special meaning.

I create original artwork using pencil, watercolor, and crayon, as well as digital artwork that carries the qualities and sensibility I have developed through traditional drawing. I accept commissions from both Japan and overseas, with digital artworks delivered as high-resolution files.

I work on a wide range of projects, from personal commissions to illustrations for shops, businesses, and events. My work includes logos, product and packaging design, character illustrations, artwork for stores and spaces, and illustrations for books and websites, tailored to each client's needs and vision.

I lived with a rescue dog for 16 years, and I am deeply grateful for the precious life we were able to share. The love and warmth I experienced during those years, as well as the sadness and loneliness that can come unexpectedly after saying goodbye, have become an important part of how I approach my work.

When creating a commissioned piece, families often share their companion's name, memories, and stories with me. Hearing these stories allows me to get to know and understand them beyond what can be seen in a photograph. Their memories and feelings add depth and meaning to the time I spend creating each piece.

Each time I hear these stories, I feel that the companion who has passed on is giving their family one more precious gift — another opportunity to speak their name, remember them, and share the love they brought into their lives.

Through my work, I hope to bring those memories and moments back into color, creating artwork that allows their presence to remain close, whenever they look at it.
